- Improvement of service life of metallic recirculating radiant heating tubes for industrial furnaces by reducing thermal stresses (AiF IGF)
- Development of energy efficient burners for heat treatment furnaces with a reducing / protective gas atmosphere (AiF ZIM)
- Determination of the energy balance of two walking beam furnaces and optimization of the regenerative burner operation
- Temperature measurement at the muffle and off-gas volume flow measurement at a bright annealing line for stainless steel
- Investigation of temperature uniformity in a bogie hearth furnace for hardening and tempering of semi-finished metal products
- Determination of the off-gas mass flow in a bogie hearth furnace for the firing of ceramic catalyst substrates
- Investigation of the operation of radiant tubes in the furnace of a hot-dip galvanizing line to increase tube life
