If you are tra­vel­ling by car, plea­se order a guest par­king pass in advan­ce. The par­king per­mits can be appli­ed for until 24 Novem­ber 2023 by emai­ling contact@iob.rwth-aachen.de and are free of char­ge for you. We recom­mend that you use the car park direct­ly in front of the IOB. If this is occu­p­ied, the­re is ano­ther lar­ge car park at the end of Koper­ni­kus­stra­ße with ple­nty of par­king spaces. Plea­se do not use the par­king spaces on the left side of the street, as the­se belong to a dif­fe­rent par­king zone.

The depart­ment is easi­ly acces­si­ble from the Old Town by bus (bus stop Mies-van-der-Rohe-Stra­ße, lines 33 or 73), by car or within 20 min on foot. The evening event on Day 1 will also take place in the Old Town. We the­r­e­fo­re recom­mend a hotel in the city centre:
