Group Mana­ger Rene­wa­ble ener­gy and low CO2 pro­cess heating

Research

The main rese­arch inte­rest of Chris­ti­an Schwot­zer is the use of rene­wa­ble ener­gy in indus­tri­al fur­naces to redu­ce CO2 emis­si­ons in ther­mopro­ces­ses as part of the decar­bo­ni­sa­ti­on of the iron and steel, non-fer­rous, cera­mic and glas indus­try with a spe­cial focus on the com­bi­ned ana­ly­sis of tech­ni­cal, eco­lo­gi­cal and eco­no­mic aspects. He is the lea­der of the inno­va­ti­on net­work hybrid-hea­ting and has aut­ho­red or co-aut­ho­red 50 con­tri­bu­ti­ons to jour­nals, con­fe­rence pro­cee­dings or books as well as num­e­rous pos­ters and presentations.
